Legge, Marion May - 83, of Lake Ramsay, NS; passed away peacefully in the Fisherman's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, on Sunday, November 27, 2011. Born in Lake Ramsay, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Freda (Parker) Legge. Marion was a member of the Messenger's of Music. She enjoyed playing guitar and fiddle and was a member of the Lunenburg County Fiddler's Club for 20 years. Aside from her love of music she also enjoyed painting and sewing; Marion made all of her own clothing as well as for other community members. Marion had several jobs throughout her life; she was a farmer, and a christmas tree exporter; and her favorite place to be was outdoors. She is survived by her brother, Maurice (Gloria) Legge, Middleton; and her dear friends Miles Veinott and Betty Hughes. Marion is predeceased by her brother Maynard; sister, Bessie (at infancy); and a half sister, Pearl. A visitation will be held in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, New Ross, on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Christ Anglican Church, New Ross; with Rev. Valeria Rhymes officiating. Donations in Marion's memory may be made to the Christ Anglican Church.
