I was very sad to hear of Jeannechr(39)s passing. I had the privilege of being her only student for many of my Bernina classes. She was such a wonderful teacher, so patient and kind. I had been sick and she helped me to heal with sewing. I will always remember her favourite saying to me : "Donna be a brave little soldier!" I will miss her. My sincere condolences to you Will and your family.

My condolences, Will to you and your family. I never met you, but Jeanne talked about you being a great help and support to her. I purchased my Bernina from her in 2008 and I met with her at the Fabric Outlet in Bedeque once a month for eight weeks or more learning how to use my machine by making a wall hanging. I learnt a lot from her as this was my first class on quilting. She was a special lady and we had a lot of fun. The work she did was awesome and she was a great teacher. She will be greatly missed.

Meeting The Bernina Lady was a great boost for my quilting, but getting to know Jeanne Huntley personally has been a special privilege. Jeanneââ?‰?¢s knowledge and skills in the sewing field were surpassed only by her commitment to excellence in everything she tackled. My whole family welcomed her visits and loved how the house rang with laughter when Jeanne was present. Over the past few months, I have been wowed and humbled by Jeanneââ?‰?¢s optimism, determination, and acceptance. I am hugely honoured to be one of Jeanneââ?‰?¢s ââ?¬Ã
?girlsââ?¬ÃÂ. My family extends sincerest condolences to Will and family.

My deepest sympathies to the Huntley family on Jeannechr(39)s passing. I met Jeanne when I took a quilting class from her in Coldbrook. Because of her, I developed a passion for sewing and quilting. Her teaching methods were the best and will remain with me forever. Her humor was infectious. She will be sadly missed.

My exposure to Jeanne was through the quilting world. Like so many others I quickly learned to appreciate her knowledge, skill, willingness to help, plus a wicked sense of humor. Her place in our hearts will always remain empty.

My deepest sympathies to the family on the passing of Jeanne, a wonderful, kind and talented lady. I first met Jeanne many years ago at Calico Basket in Bridgewater. Even though Jeanne and I were competitorchr(39)s in the working world, Jeanne would always greet me with a smile and a hug wherever we crossed paths, usually in a quilt shop. We respected each otherchr(39)s love and passion for sewing and quilting. Jeanne will be greatly missed in the quilting world.

Jeannie & I met throughour love of quilting, collecting fabrics & sewing many unfinished projects. I do not know which of us had the most. What I remember most is her incredible laugh. We had many hours of sewing (not always very productive) & laughter. Over the last year she showed incredible strength throughout her illness & we sewed until very recently, latterly we still managed a giggle or two. She was a true friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew & loved her.

I met Jeannie through our common love a sewing, fabric and Berninas. She rescued my machine more than once and was always there to help solve problems. She was positive, thoughtful and generous with her time and knowledge. Nova Scotia is a better place for having her call the province home and shared so much with so many. I hope her memories bring comfort to the family.
