GOULD, Dorothy Viola - 92, Harbourville, Kings Co., passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011, in the Evergreen Home For Special Care, Kentville. Born in Berwick, on March 10, 1919, she was a daughter of the late George and Bertha (Saunders) Dodge. Dorothy was a home maker all of her life, helping her husband run the family farm. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Dorothy was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Clifford B. Gould; son, Boyd Gould; brothers, James, Harry and Alex Dodge; sisters, Gladys Foote, Florence Hiltz, Clara Anna Coleman and Laura Fillamore. Surviving are her daughters, Cynthia Boliver (Donald Bezanson), Brooklyn Corner, Kings Co.; Pansy Gould, Coldbrook, Kings Co.; grandchildren, Janet Francoeur (Larry), Steven Wagstaff, all of Alberta; Connie Schofield (James), Wolfville, Kings Co.; Corey Boudreau, Oromocto, N.B.; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Dorothy will take place from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m., with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, both in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Pastor Tim Bigelow officiating, with burial in the Burlington Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Burlington Cemetery Society or to any charity.
