Haynes, Theda Lorraine (Irving) 58, Halifax formerly of the Annapolis Valley. It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Theda (Irving) Haynes on June 9, 2011. Born June 6, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy (Martin) Irving of Baxters Harbour. Theda loved life and her family especially her daughters Teri (Shannon) Tapia and Jodi (Jason) Thibeault. She will be greatly missed by her partner Richard Cooke, Halifax. Theda leaves behind sisters Carol (Ken) Price, Virginia (Wayne) Horton, Judy (Wayne Titus) Irving, Nancy (Joe) Harbors, Janet (Bill) Warren, Deidra (Peter) Pinch; brothers Richard (Ruth), Robert (Nancy), Ron, Brian (Kim), Jeff (Barb) and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son Derrick and brothers Mike and Paul. Interment has taken place in the Baxters Harbour Cemetery. A celebration of Theda's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday June 13, 2011 in the home of Robert and Nancy Irving, 1391 Baxters Harbour Road, Baxters Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baxters Harbour cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home and Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, Nova Scotia B4P 1E7.
