SULLIVAN, Gertie Mae (Frost) - 85, passed away at Tideview Terrace, Digby on May 31, 2011. Born in Tiddville, Digby County she was the daughter of the late Howard and Edna (McCullough) Frost. Known for her peanut butter fudge and her enjoyment of company Gertie is described as being a lady who liked staying home and taking great care of her loved ones. She is predeceased by her first husband John Gosson; second husband Wilfred Sullivan; son Ricky; and grand daughter Jennifer. Gertie is survived by her sons Robert; Wade (Lawna); and Stephen (Corinne); daughters Rena (Dan); Bev (Joe); Wanda (Wayne); and Trisha (Tom); brothers Lew; Donnie; and Keith; sisters Edna; Glee; Dot; Millie; and Mabel; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home and Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, Nova Scotia B4P 1E7. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place in the Little River Cemetery on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 11 a.m. Donations in Gertie?¢s memory may be made to the Digby General Hospital.
