HUTT, Gerald Lester - 76, Harbourville, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011, in the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville. Born in Berwick, he was a son of the late Lester and Charlotte (Lacey) Hutt. Gerald was a long-time resident of the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre and was a former resident of the A.R.C., Bridgetown and at Dayspring, Bridgewater. He loved to bowl and won several bowling trophies. Surviving are brothers, Charles (Roxanne Salsman), Kingston; John (Eileen), Hamilton, Ont.; David (Audrey), Harbourville; sister, Madelon Misner, Digby; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth; sisters, Mary in infancy; Marguerite Squarebriggs; Helen Mapplebeck; Louise Haley. Visitation for Gerald will take place from 7-9 p.m., Monday, in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 26. Pastor Tim Bigelow and Rev. Donald Hirtle officiating, with burial on the Berwick Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to the Apple Tree Foundation at Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville, or to any charity.
