RUSSELL, Maynard Joseph - 70, New Ross passed away on March 26, 2011 at home. Born in Enfield he was the son of the late Ralph and Marie (Leete) Russell. Maynard is survived by his wife Ruth (Arsenault); sons Jim (Penny) Arsenualt, Ontario, Darren (Charlotte) Russell, Chester Grant, Wayne (Shelley) Russell, Ontario; daughters Linda Hatt, New Ross, Darlene (Nigel) Levy, New Ross, Wendy (Jeff) Harvey, New Ross; brother Alvin (Dora) Russell, New Ross; sister Hazel (Thomas) Mitton, Amherst; fourteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Maynard is predeceased by brothers Andrew, Cyril, Elmer, William; and sisters Minetta, Marlene, and Ethel who died in infancy. Visitation will take place Tuesday from 7-9 pm at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 4935 Hwy#12, New Ross, NS B0J 2M0. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am March 30, 2011 in the St. Patrick?¢s Roman Catholic Church, New Ross with Father Randy Doucette as the Celebrant. Donations in Maynard?¢s memory may be made to the New Ross Volunteer Fire Department or to a charity of choice.
