FIELD, Gloria Belle - 78, Granville Ferry, Annapolis County, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Annapolis Royal Nursing Home Respite Care Unit. Born in Tiverton, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Wintford and Belva Garron (Outhouse). Gloria was predeceased by her husband Arthur and infant daughter Belva Glenola, and is survived by daughters Marcia Field (Donnie Brown) and Marianne (Peter) Lawrence, and son Martin (Brenda) Field; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brothers Wintford, Willard and Lindon Garron. Cremation has taken place under the care of Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Kentville, N.S. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011, at two p.m., at the South Range Church of Christ; reception to follow in the Church hall. Family burial will take place at a later date in Westport, Brier Island. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Nova Scotia Division. Gloria?¢s family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors, the VON and Palliative Care Team, Family First Medical, Hutchin?¢s Pharmacy, and all staff at the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home for their care and compassion during her illness.
