Phillips - Frizzell, Lorraine Margo - 56, Gypsum Mines passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday March 12, 2011. She was the daughter of Roley and Beulah Phillips, Gypsum Mines. Besides her parents she is survived by her Husband Steven Frizzell; daughter Jillian (Jeff) Fraser, Falmouth; son Troy Frizzell (Holly Shute), St. Croix; stepsons Todd Frizzell (Rhonda Fleming) Lower Sackville and Brent Frizzell, Ardoise; grandchildren Kyle, Alex and Abby Fraser; step grandchildren Julia and Walker Frizzell and Renaye Quinn; sisters Carole (Garth) Ettinger, Lakeside, Paulette Phillips, Halifax, Beverley (Wayne) Shanks, Upper Falmouth, Chris Phillips (Jim Barker), Popular Grove and brother Mark (Kathy) Phillips, Brooklyn. Lorraine loved the outdoors and was employed for many years by the Department of Natural Resources . Her passions in life were her family especially her grandchildren, weekends with family at the cottage on Panuke Lake and her yearly trips to the Caribbean. At the request of the family there will be no funeral or visitation. There will be an open house to celebrate Lorraine?¢s life from 1-4 p.m. Sunday March 20th in the home of Jeff and Jillian Fraser, 46 Halewood Drive, Falmouth. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Canada or to a cause of your choice. Special thanks to Bev Lytle, the VON, Dr. Buckley, Dr Bruce McLeod and the many nurses and Physicians on the Oncology Unit and the nurses of the 11th Floor Chemotherapy Unit at the VG Hospital who provided care to Lorraine.
