ANDERSON, Ronald Christie - West Brooklyn. It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved father on February 26,2011 at the age of 75. Born in Halifax on Nov.5 ,1935 , he was the eldest son of Borden and Laura (Christie). During his youth he excelled along with his brother Kenneth achieving the rank as King scout. As a young man , he worked at various jobs including the CNR, he later worked with Braemar Pest Control until his retirement. It was at this time that he and his wife, Marina moved to the Annapolis Valley (their little piece of paradise). Ron had a tremendous green thumb growing flowers, vegetables and sustaining his beautiful fruit trees and flowering bushes. He also enjoyed carpentry , preparing preserves, crossword puzzles and reading. Ronald was never one to shy away from a good game of - Bridgeì³, as well as always taking on a card challenge from any of his grandchildren. He is lovingly remembered by his 3 children Ronald (Pam) Halifax, Gerry (Millie) Greenwich, Crystol Theriault (Glenn) Oxford. Although practical and wise he could see the humor in most situations. Ronald was gifted with a quick wit and infectious laugh and very much loved a good practical joke .
