Mumford, Glenn Gordon-52, Mount Uniacke, NS. It is with great sadness that the family of Glenn Mumford announce his passing, January 16, at Hants Community Hospital. Born in Halifax and raised in Mount Uniacke, he was the son of Charles and the late Norma (Blois) Mumford. He is survived by his beloved daughter Annette, Halifax. He is also survived by his loving father, Charles Mumford; special friend Eleanor; his siblings; Janet (Jon) Curry, Halifax, Ross (Stella) Mumford, Richibucto NB, Anna (Brian) Steadman, Mount Uniacke, Grant (Cheryl) Mumford, Dartmouth, Wray (Shirley) Mumford, Upper Rawdon, Dale (Wayne) Davis, Ste Croix, Dawn Mumford, Bedford, Barrie Mumford, Mount Uniacke, Vern (Jennifer) Mumford, Mount Uniacke. Glenn will also be missed by Annette?¢s mother Susan Mumford Mumford and her family Dorothy Collings and Michael Collings. Glenn was a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his much loved mother, Norma. Glenn was a very proud father to Annette. A skilled autobody worker, he was also an accomplished woodsman and loved being in the woods. In recent years he worked with Hemlow Forestry Ltd. And will be sadly missed by Lionel and Bea Hemlow. Glenn enjoyed music, being on the road, telling stories, company of his friends and family. His many friends and people he met will remember him best for his sharp wit and very lively sense of humor. In lieu of a memorial service , the family welcomes you to visit with them at St. Paul?¢s United Church on Sunday, January 23, from 2-4pm. (293 Etter Rd. Mount Uniacke). Please bring any photos or memories of Glenn that you would like to share for a memory book. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Hants Community Hospital, 89 Payzant Dr. Windsor NS B0N 2T0 or a charity of choice. Glenn?¢s family would like to thank Dr. Marie Laryea, Dr. Christine Langley, and the doctors, nurses and staff at the Hants Community Hospital for their excellent care.
