COCHRANE, Frederick Frances - 85, Windsor, passed away January 4, 2011 in Halifax. Born in Sweets Corner he was a son of the late Wilfred and Hazel (Lockhart) Cochrane. Frederick was a heavy equipment mechanic. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #9, Windsor. He is survived by his companion Julia Wile, Falmouth; sisters Geraldine Baxter, Windsor, Olive Porter, Windsor, Anna (Von) Brault, Bedford, Brenda (Clayton) Aker, Falmouth, Emma (Merle) McCulloch, Windsor, Deborah Martin, Kentville; brothers Owen (Florence), Hantsport, Irving, Windsor, Glenford Martin (Cora), Ellershouse. Besides his parents Frederick was predeceased by his wife Mabel; his son in infancy, David; sisters Winnie Rafuse, Mildred Harvey and Donna Flynn. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be 2:00pm on Friday January 7, 2011 in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #9 in Windsor. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
