Dear Franey children,
Deepest apologies for being so slow in sending a note. We had sickness in the household over in December and over Christmas and I am still trying to catch up.
I was sorry to hear of your motherchr(39)s passing and of course my mind ran through many memories of time spent, as a child at the house on the corner in Weston, visiting Catherine. Your mom always welcomed me and was happy to include me in activities, and meals as well. Time did not allow a visit with her on my most recent trips to Weston, but I always thought of her when passing either of the houses where I remembered spending time with her.
Although I delayed writing, you have been in my thoughts and I trust each one of you is doing well in spite of your loss and grief. My mother send me a copy of the service program. It looked like it was a very nice service. I wish I could have attended.
Ruth

I was so sorry to hear that Marjorie had passed away. Aunt Helen called me just before Christmas with the news. I always looked forward to seeing Marjorie at the various family gatherings, and I remember Mom and Dad taking Harvey and I to visit her at the farm when we were young. We will miss her.

Sincere sympathy on the loss of your dear mother. Marjorie was always such a cheerful, friendly person--we often had great chats when I would see her. I remember her as a talented, hard=working woman. My dad and mom always had great respect for both of your parents.
Those we hold most dear never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they showed, the love and laughter they shared and the joy they brought into our lives. May wonderful memories bring you peace at this difficult time.
Take care,
John and Louise Rainforth

We were so shocked and sorry to hear of Marjoriechr(39)s passing. Mom had told me that she was in hospital but she didnchr(39)t know how ill she was. We are sorry that we will be unable to attend the funeral. Jimchr(39)s mom is with us at present and she is not well (lung cancer).
We will always remember playing cards with Marjorie at Momchr(39)s and when she visited us here - Jim called her the Queen of Hearts! Jim still has a pair of socks she knit for him.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences and know that we are thinking of you and remembering you in prayer at this difficult time.
