My heartfelt sympathy to your family on Johnchr(39)s passing. I always enjoyed his quick wit and laughter at the campouts. He even chuckled when I teased him a bit about his "ponytail" phase. I like to think that even though someone we love has passed they are never further away than our heart.
Kindest regards,
Doug

Bette, Glenn & Family
John had a long and wonderful life. We only knew him through camping. We spent a number of wonderful week-ends at "Johnchr(39)s Place". I (Campbell) had a number of long talks with him at which time I learned a great deal about the history of the Annapolis Valley and his conribution to making it a better place.
John, you and Glenn were wonderful hosts during our campouts. The location under the canopy of trees was a beautiful place to spend a week-end with friends.
It is always hard to lose a loved one even if it is some what expected. You will have wonderful memories of him which is always a Blessing.
His spirit will continue to live on through all those he met and will continue to have a positive impact on all lives including ours that were touched by him.
You have our deepest sympathy.
Peace be with you,
Campbell & Ann

My deepest sympathies to the family of John Horsnell, I remember being at Grampy Horsnellchr(39)s and seeing the milk trucks come and go. Now and then John would drop in and he and Grampy would have a yarn in the kitchen. It was always an exciting Sunday when Grampy and Grammy would say we were going to the shore. This always meant a visit to Morden and a stop to see John at the cottage. My thoughts are with you. regards Marlene
