Hello Alice and family, I am Shirley Morris the "the lady from dartmouth" which is what Sherlock called me. I am in shock here today as I read the newspaper. I am so glad I had the pleasure of meeting Sherlock when I did, I had a great evening out with him to see Ray Price. We shared a lot of coffee times either running through the tunnel or running across the street to the tims in the Dickson Centre. I had great chats with him about the Bakery, Bargain Harleys and of course THE FAMILY. I heard lots of stories about the horse back rider, the new home being built near by. When I would see Sherlock on mondays he would tell me about the visits you would have and how you and your son had taken him for a drive and how excited he was to get home and be able to drive with that new leg. I am deeply sorry for your loss and I will never forget Sherlock, he was my Good Buddy!! I will always display his little gift he had handed me the day before he left Halifax. I was planning to surprise you both with a visit next week and now here I am writting my Condolences to you and the family instead. Alice I am so sorry for your loss of Sherlock.
