HILL, Marjorie Olive (MacKinley) - 84, Windsor passed away August 23, 2010 in the Windsor Elms. Born in MacKinleyville, NB she was a daughter of the late Bryce and Jessie (Clark) MacKinley. Marjorie was a nurse who had dedication to her work and took great pride in her duties. Nursing was a great passion in her life. She worked in the Miramichi Hospital in various capacities, where she also taught nursing. Marjorie did private nursing in Boston and worked in the Windsor Elms, Dykeland Lodge and the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor retiring at the age of 65. She loved to cook and enjoyed her flower gardens. She was a quiet soul. Family gatherings and her grand children and great grand children brought her great joy. Marjorie was a member of the United Church. Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Robert) Potter, Miramichi, NB and Donna (Blaine) Veinot, Windsor; brother, Warren (Clara) McKinley, MacKinleyville, NB; sister Freda Gorbett, Chelmsford, NB; brother Wendall (Linda) MacKinley, MacKinleyville, NB; sister in law Jean, Chelmsford, NB and Lillian, Brampton, Ontario; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Samuel Edward Hill; brothers Millard and Arthur - Art쳌; sister, Mary. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside funeral will take place in St Andrews United Church Cemetery, Mackinleyville, NB Aug 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Donations in memory of Marjorie may be made to the St Andrews United Church or Cemetery Fund MacKinleyville NB. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, NS, B4P 1E7.
