Obituary of Norma Genevieve Peterson

Peterson, (Morrison)(Irving) Norma Genevieve "Gennie" 88, Kentville passed away at Evergreen Home for Special Care, August 5, 2010. Born in Sheffield Mills she was a daughter of the late Gordon Earl Irving and Alice Maude Bentley. Gennie is survived by daughter Linda (Vernon) Barkhouse , New Minas and son Alfred (Barbara) Morrison, Burton, N.B.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd and Hubert. Besides her parents, Gennie was predeceased by husbands, Allan Morrison, Vinton Peterson; brother, Earl and sisters, Thelma - Mardie쳌 and Alice. Gennie worked in Kentville all her life and retired from the Kentville Electric Commission. She resided most of her life in Kingsport. She also resided near her son in Oromocto in later years. She enjoyed travelling especially by bus. A special thanks to the Doctors and Staff at Evergreen for all their tender loving care in the last few years. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. A private burial service will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Gennie may be made to Alzheimer?¢s Society or charity of one?¢s choice.
