Obituary of Welma Juanita Craig

CRAIG (Foster), Welma Juanita - 97, formerly of Hartland, N.B., passed away July 30, 2010 in Grand View Manor, Berwick, N.S. Born in Lansdowne, N.B., she was the sixth of ten children born to Byron and Sophia (Rockwell) Foster and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughters Rayma Dawn Lindsay, Bramalea, ON; Juanita Fowler, Fredericton, N.B.; Coleen (Michael) Spence, Quesnel, B.C. sons Terrance (Muriel), Kingston, N.S.; Peter (Jo-Anne), Hartland, N.B.; and daughter-in-law Gina Craig, Cold Lake, AB. She is also survived by 18 grand-children, 34 great-grand-children and 7 great-great grand-children. Welma was predeceased by her husband, Harold LeRoy Craig; sons Harold Jr. (Buddy) and Dale, daughter Sonya Lovely, sons-in-law Raymond Lindsay and Darryl Lovely, great-granddaughter Tammy, brothers George, Murray, James, DeLancey (Bus) and Dow; sisters, Hazel, Ferne, Vera and Dorothy (Dot). Family was always the centre of Welma?¢s life. She never forgot a birthday or other special occasion, had a remarkable ability to remember and recount family history, and was a gifted writer of her life experiences. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Welma?¢s life will be held on August 3, 2010 at Britton Funeral Home, Hartland, N.B. at 3:00 p.m. Visiting hours from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Hartland, N.B.
