BARTEAUX, Stuart Lindsay - 70, Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Middleton, Annapolis Co., he was a son of the late Wylie and Violetta (Mullen) Barteaux. Stuart was a past member of the Berwick & District Lions Club and was retired from Michelin Tire after 15 years of employment. Surviving are his wife, Joan C. (Wood) Barteaux, Berwick; sons, Jeffrey (Jennifer), Wilmot; Peter (Joyce), Grand Prairie, Alberta; daughters, Sandra (Ken) Barteaux, Kentville; Kimberly (Ralph) Campbell, Wilmot; Jane (Bruce) Thomas, Berwick; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Ernest (Marian), Hammonds Plains; Brian (Sharon), Port George; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Kenneth and Lawrence. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend a Graveside Service for Stuart at 2 p.m., Thursday, July 8, in the Hillside Cemetery, Port George, Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to the Berwick and District Lions Club, Palliative Care Program of Annapolis Valley Health or to the Victorian Order of Nurses, Annapolis Valley Branch.
