CLEM, Carrie Eliza - 98, Berwick, Kings Co., formerly of Weston, Kings Co., passed away suddenly, on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at her apartment in Fundy Villa, Berwick. Born in Millville, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Annie (Trites) Saunders. Carrie was a member of the Baptist Church and the Weston Women?¢s Institute. She was a former member of the Aylesford-Auburn Unit of the Canadian Cancer Society and had been a volunteer knitter for the Berwick & Area Food Bank. Carrie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are nieces, Clara, Rita, Polly, Barbara, Patti and Beatrice. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Randolph Clem; brother, Harold Saunders; sisters, Nina Lee; Myrtle Archibald; Mildred Laskey. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend a Graveside Service for Carrie at 2 p.m., Friday, July 2, in the Aylesford Union Cemetery, with her friend, Stuart Johnstone officiating. No flowers by request, donations in Carrie?¢s memory may be made to the Weston Community Hall or to any charity. The family would like to say a special thank you to the residents at Parkview Court, Middleton and to the residents and staff at Fundy Villa, Berwick, for their care and concern shown to Carrie during her time of residence in her two apartments.
