Dear Family Roger Cyr,
Please accept my condolences on your loss.
I found comfort in the hope for our dear loved ones that is expressed in the Bible at Psalm 37:29 which says: "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."
We can be assured that when wickedness is wiped out from the earth and it is restored to a paradise like the Garden of Eden as God originally purposed, our loved ones will return to life on earth. John 5: 28,29 tells us that "...The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out ..."
In the Lordchr(39)s Prayer that most of us pray we ask for Godchr(39)s Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Then there will be no more sorrow or pain as we are promised at Revelation 21:3,4. It reads in part: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, ... And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.ââ?¬ÃÂ
I hope these words bring a measure of comfort in your time of loss.
Sincerely,
Sandra Sullivan

To Mae and family: I wish to offer our sympathy on the death of Roger, husband and Dad.
Roger was a very interesting man and a great person to have known. He and I hashed over many of the old Guysborough memories. Also a great historian and he will be missed by all who knew him.
May all your many memories help you and family at this time of sorrow.

Hi, My sincere condolences for the loss of Roger. I met Roger in Kingston over 20 years ago and we became pretty good friends. We shared an interest in the canvas shop, in recycling and in our home county of Cumberland. He was a significant person in my life and it is sad to hear of his departure. Thank you.

May and family: My thoughts are with you at this time. I had a nice long conversation with Roger last summer that started with his lovely fence and ended up covering his career, writing and travels.
