NEWMAN, Harold Scott ?쳌 76, Perotte. Lived January 22, 1934 to May 21, 2010. Harry had a short battle with cancer. Born in Detroit, Mich., he was a son of the late Scott and Rita Frances (Lutz) Newman. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sons, one in infancy, the other, Lindsay Bruce Bunch, age 43; and grandson, Jacob Wright. He is survived by wife of 40 years, Ingrid Elizabeth (Karlsen); son, Rick (Joann); daughters, Shari (Roger), Lori, and Janice Wright (Curt); brother, Charles, his wife, Pat and their seven children. Harry is also survived by grandchildren, Scott Newman, Nathaniel and Elspeth Wright, Sara and Emily Heddon, Eric and Alex Champe. Harry moved to Canada in 1975. He was a member of the 87th Airborne during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of IBEW Local 58 Detroit, Local 3 New York, Past member of the Staten Island Ski Club, Digby Yatch Club, Annapolis Boating Club. Harry enjoyed his retirement building furniture and traveling with his wife to visit their many friends and family in Canada and the United States. Cremation has taken place. There will be no wake or funeral by request. Donations to the Victorian Order of Nurses and Annapolis Community Health Centre would be greatly appreciated. The family thanks them for their wonderful caring and kindness during the past weeks.
