Obituary of Edgar Warren Eddy

EDDY, Edgar Warren ?쳌81, Kentville passed away May 17, 2010, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Tangier on August 22, 1928, he was a son of the late Walter and Beulah Eddy. He resided in the Kentville area for 50 years where he spent many of those years doing carpentry and construction work. He was very proud of his home, constantly "keeping things in tip-top shape". He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruby (Thibodeau); daughters, Donna Martin (Garnet), Williamswood; Marilyn Beatty (Mike), Port Williams; grandchildren, Mary-Jane Martin and Matthew Beatty; brothers, Parker (Dora), New Minas; Norman (Tonya), Brookfield; Walter (Christine), Musquodoboit Harbour; sisters-in-law, Grace Eddy, Popes Harbour; Edith Eddy, Dartmouth; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by an infant son; sisters, Ethel and Madeline; brothers, Frederick, Spencer, Harvey, Douglas, Fraser, Emerson, Nelson and Lloyd. Cremation has taken place. A funeral memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday May 20, in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home Chapel, Kentville with Rev. John McNally officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kings County SPCA or to the charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H. C.
