BUTLER, Joan Gertrude ?쳌 56, Port Williams, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 16, 2010, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Helen (Meisner) Butler. Joan was a real "people person", and loved to do ink sketching. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Gary, and one niece in infancy. Donations in Joan's memory may be made to Port Williams United Baptist Church. Cremation has taken place and no visitation by request. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, May 19, at 2 p.m. in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, with Rev. Elizabeth Johnson officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium, 568 Main St., Wolfville, NS B4P 1E7.
