PARSONS (Urquhart), Marlene Ellen, 60, Centreville, passed away peacefully at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, on Tuesday April 27, 2010. Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of Marney (MacLeod) Urquhart and the late William - Billyì³ Urquhart. Throughout her life, she was a lover of music, travel, the outdoors and an avid amateur painter. Besides her mother, Marlene is survived by her loving husband, John, daughter Heather (Margot); sister Laurie (Sheldon) Hewey; and brother Jamie (Loraine) Urquhart. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 8, 2010 in the West Bay United Church, West Bay, Cape Breton. Donations in Marlene?¢s memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville NS, B4P 1E70.
