LEGGE, Lois Maxine ?ì³ 69, Kentville, formerly of New Ross, passed away peacefully Saturday April 17, 2010, in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Lake Ramsay, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Beatrice (Corbin) Legge. Lois was a hard worker. She worked on a farm and cared for her family. She always put others before herself. Lois enjoyed singing, painting, and she was the best gardener in Lake Ramsay. She is survived by her sister, Retha (John) Dixon, Whitby, Ont. Besides her parents, Lois was predeceased by brothers, Eric, James and Victor Legge; sister, Avis (Ken) Reece. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday April 21 in Christ Anglican Church, New Ross, Rev. Frances Boutilier officiating. Interment will take place in Christ Anglican Church Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements are under the care and direction of H. C. Lindsay Funeral Homes & Crematorium P.O. Box 4, 38 Forties Rd., New Ross, N.S. B0J 2M0 (902-689-2961). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Anglican Church, New Ross.
