PELTON, G. Mansfield - 74, Waterville, Kings Co., passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, in the Evergreen Home For Special Care, Kentville. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late George and Grace (Zwicker) Pelton. Mansfield had been a farmer all of his life, working at A.D. Rafuse & Sons Farm, Waterville and at Archibald Farms. He was an avid gardener, loved to grow and sell vegetables at his fruit stand. Surviving are several step-children and their families; brothers, Douglas, Berwick; Arnold (Kay), Greenwood; Blake, Berwick; Curtis (Susan), Port Williams; sisters, Lillis Pelton, Yarmouth; Gloria (Lloyd) Baltzer, Aylesford; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice (Veno) Pelton; brother, Stanley. Visitation for Mansfield will take place from 7-9 p.m., Saturday, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 18. Rev. Donald Rafuse officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the I.W.K.
