Obituary of Oren Smith Foster

FOSTER, Oren Smith ?쳌 97, Deep Brook, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born in Karsdale, he was the son of Huey and Mildred Foster. Oren was decorated with the 1939-45 Star, Italy Star, France/Germany Star, Defence Medal, and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, as well as being presented the British Empire Medal at Buckingham Palace. Oren is survived by his wife, Susan (Bell) Foster, and son-in-law, Winston Martin. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Jeanette Martin. Cremation has taken place and no visitation by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 122, Clementsport. The memorial service will be held on Monday, April 12, at 2 p.m., in Royal Canadian Legion Branch 122, Clementsport with Comrade Doug Moore officiating and Dr. George Allen assisting.
