Obituary of Robert James Randall

RANDALL, Robert James "Bud" ?쳌 79, New Minas, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2010. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late William and Susan (Burns) Randall. Bud was employed throughout the valley as a general laborer including Camp Aldershot. Through the years, he enjoyed many of the winter sports including hockey, skating and skiing. Baseball and mountain biking became his sports of choice as the winter retreated. When he was not involved in sports, he took pleasure in socializing and assisting people in the community. He is survived by sisters, Kathleen, Cambridge; Marilyn, Stratford, Ont. and Eileen, St. Thomas, Ont. Besides his parents, Bud was predeceased by brother, Donald, and sisters, Hilda, Betty, Joan and Frances. There will be no visitation or service at Robert's request. A private family graveside service will take place on Saturday, March 27, at 2 p.m. in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in Bud's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Salvation Army.
