Thibault, Elinor Grace - 92, Aylesford, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2010, in the Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Aylesford, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (McNally) Carey. Elinor was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Parish, Berwick. She was a devoted wife and mother, a great cook and her family and home were the joy of her life. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are sons, Gary (Cheryl), Berwick; Wade, Mavillette, Digby Co.; Alfred (Marlene), Aylesford; daughter-in-law, Marion, Brantford, Ont.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Laurence J. Thibault; son, Frederick "Fred"; great-grandson, Zander; brothers, J. Edward "Ed"; C. Frederick "Fred" (Vesta) Carey. Visitation for Elinor will take place from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Sunday, with prayers at 7:30 p.m. in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 1, in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 120 Mill St., Berwick. Rev. Fr. Sean Cahill officiating, with burial in the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Grand View Manor or to St. Lawrence Cemetery.
