Obituary of Tristan Roy Zwicker

Zwicker, Tristan Roy - 19, Tremont, Kings Co. On Monday, January 25, 2010, Great Nan Zwicker opened her arms to greet Tristan into heaven with her. Tristan passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Halifax Infirmary, Q.E.II, Halifax.

He was a Grade 11 honours student at West Kings District High School in Auburn. Tristan loved working with his hands, especially carpentry and could always be counted on to help out with his friends and family; and especially his Poppy roofing or building whatever was required. He was outgoing and friendly and had a passion for fishing, hunting and camping with family and friends.

Tristan is and will forever be deeply missed by his parents, Timothy Zwicker, Cold Lake Alberta; Bonnie (Fahie) Zwicker (Brad Ryckman), Greenwood; sisters, Teanne Zwicker, Greenwood; Sandy-Lynn Fisher (Rick), Truro. Also surviving are his special grandparents, Nanny and Poppy, Roland and Margaret (Rose) Zwicker, Lake Paul; Grampie, Charles Fahie, Tremont; Nanny, Shirley (Rogers) Fahie and her husband, Grampie "O", John Collins, Greenwood; uncles and aunts, Avery and Sharon Fahie; Gregory and Cindy Zwicker; Charlene Fahie; Geoffrey and Jodi Hennigar; Brenda Zwicker; niece, Lilly-Beth Fisher; many great aunts, great uncles and cousins.

Visitation for Tristan will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where a Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 30. Rev. Charles Bull officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery.

A special thank you from the family to the first responders, the R.C.M.P. (Kingston), Soldiers Memorial Hospital Emergency Room Staff, Q.E. II I.C.U. 5.2 staff and to Tammy, the Organ Donator Co-coordinator at the Q.E. II, who through her, Tristan has given the gift of life to so many others. To all of our family and friends, thank you for your support during this difficult time.
