Obituary of James Frederick Caldwell

Caldwell, James Frederick “Jim”, 73 of Windsor, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife Beatrice and family by his side, on February 6, 2013. He was the son of the late Gordon and Minnie (McCarthy) Caldwell. He had a great love for nature, his vegetable garden, and watching the birds feed in his feeders. Jim and Beat enjoyed spending their summers at the campground with friends and family. He was his happiest when he was with his friends and family, who knew him as Pup or P.P. Jim is survived by the love of his life Beatrice, married for 55 wonderful years, sons Michael (Shelia) ,Brooklyn; Darrell (Cork), Newport Station, daughters Heather (Donald) Weir, Falmouth; Crystal (Eddy) Levy , Vaughan, sisters Helen Riley; Ella Dearman; Francis Morrison(Bruce). Jim was proud of his grandchildren Mitchell Weir (Kelly); Danielle Weir; James Levy (Lindsay); Jordan Levy; Katey Caldwell (Dig) and his great grandchildren Abby; Camden; Jade; Isaiah; and Gabe. The family would like to thank everyone for their constant support throughout Jim’s illness and a special thanks to his great friend and neighbor Eric. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service followed by a reception on Thursday, February 14th at 2:00 at Thomas Anglican Church in Three Mile Plains. Donations can be made to St Thomas Anglican Church in Three Mile Plains. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home and Serenity Crematorium, Wolfville.
