Obituary of Roy Russell Lambert

Lambert, Roy Russell – age 77 years of River John, passed away peacefully at the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital in Tatamagouche on March 30, 2013. Born in Belmont, Colchester Co. on April 26, 1935; he was the son of the late George and Grace (Blinkensopp) Lambert. Roy worked for 17 years at Michelin Canada and also farmed for many years. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife of 55 years Arlene Lambert; son Daniel Lambert of Quebec; daughters Carole Hatfield (Shawn) of Onslow, Crystal Lambert of Truro, Tracey Robichaud of Truro, Rachel Larochelle (Patrice) of Quebec; sister Florence Hayman (Art) of North River; grandchildren Bobbie-Jo, Isaiah, Matthew, Lily and Mia. Predeceased by his brothers Frank and Godfrey; and sister Grace. In keeping with Roy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2pm from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Tatamagouche with Bill Rodgers officiating. Burial to take place at a later date.
