Obituary of Phyllis Irene Lowe

Lowe, Phyllis Irene – age 89 years of Grandview Manor, formerly of Millville, Kings Co. passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013. Born on May 29th, 1923 in New Ross, Lunenburg Co. She was the daughter of the late George and Isabella McDow. Phyllis is survived by her sons Lawrence (Frances) Lowe of Aylesford, Murray (Maria) Lowe of Hamilton, ON, Russell Lowe of Hamilton, ON James Lowe, Robert Lowe and John Lowe all of Millville; daughter Muriel Lutz (Dennis) of Morristown; son in law David Linders of Kingston; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; sister Rozella Hayes of Kentville; brother Cecil (Ella) McDow of Stellarton. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore Lowe; daughter Rosemary Linders; brothers Ira, Clifford, Gerald, Maurice; sisters Dorothy, Nellie, Mildred, Ann and Audrey. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home in Berwick on Wednesday, February 27th, 2013 from 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held from the Serenity Lindsay Berwick Chapel on Thursday, February 28th, 2013 at 2pm with the Dr. Rev. Judith Saunders officiating. Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Phyllis to the Canadian Diabetic Association, Grandview Manor or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by her family. Following the service a reception will be held at the home of Dennis and Muriel Lutz (443 Prospect Road in Morristown).
