KHALLIL, George "Glen" ?쳌 47, Kentville, after a long and very courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of "Glen" Khallil on Monday, February 22, 2010, in Orchard Court, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was a son of Jean Khallil (Beaton) and the late George Khallil. Glen was a very giving and caring man who loved and cherished his family. Glen will be sadly missed by his sons, David Khallil, Lethbridge, Alta.; Nathaniel Khallil, Lethbridge, Alta.; his loving wife of 22 years, Bessie Brothers; brother, Kevin Khallil, Wolfville; sisters, Diane Khallil, Wolfville; Christine DeBoer (John), Moncton, N.B.; nephews and nieces, Adam DeBoer, Moncton, N.B.; Rachael DeBoer, Moncton, N.B.; Rebecca Khallil, Canning; Matthew Khallil, Wolfville; and mother-in-law, Marguerite Brothers, Wolfville; as well as several loving aunts and uncles. There will be no visitation as per Glen's request and a private funeral service will be held today, at 2 p.m. in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 5 Leverett Ave., Kentville, with Rev. Gary Manthorne officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. Memorial donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
