Obituary of Margaret Inez Cole

Cole, Margaret Inez - age 72 years of Torbrook, NS, passed away peacefully at the Valley Regional Hospital on April 6, 2013. Born in Torbrook, NS on December 25, 1940; she was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn (Wiswall) Jefferson. Left with fond and loving memories are her son Larry Cole (Heather Jamieson) of North Bay, ON; daughter Susan Cole (Joe Gregoire) of Greenwood; brother Glenn (Joan) Jefferson of Kentville; grandchildren Amanda (Ron) of Kingston, ON, Marilyn (Mansoor) of Toronto, ON, Erin (Marco) of Kingston, ON, and Dougie of North Bay, ON; and great granddaughter Avah. Predeceased by her brother John Jefferson and sister Marie Fitch. Margaret had a love for life and a fine eye for detail; she always found the good in everyone, even if it wasn’t there. She loved to garden and spend time with her family; she was a proud recovering member of AA and made lots of lifelong friends through the MAC center in Kingston. In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be an open house and celebration of her life that all are invited to attend on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 11am-6pm at her residence (786 Torbrook Rd, Wilmot). Please come and share your stories and memories of mom with us, as we celebrate a life well lived. A special Thank You to all of the health care staff at Annapolis Valley Health for their excellent care of mom from beginning to end. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Margaret made to the MAC (Multi Addictions Center) (2080 Bishop Mountain Rd RR 1, Kingston, NS B0P 1R0) would be appreciated by her family.
