70, Auburn, Kings Co., passed away Wednesday August 20, 2008, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Windsor, he was a son of the late Wilfred & Frances Wier. Clair had been a painter and was a nice friendly person who would help anyone he could. Surviving are his son, Derek Wier, Auburn. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Alberta (Irvin) Wier. Visitation for Clair will be held 7-9 p.m. Monday in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Tuesday August 26. Rev. Gerald Zinck officiating, with burial in the Aylesford United Cemetery, Aylesford. Donations in Clair's memory may be made to any charity.
