62, Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Noel Road, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Cyril and Eulah (Baldridge) Miller. She had worked at the Detox Unit in Kentville and later worked for many years with the Victorian Order of Nurses until an injury in 2003. Bonnie enjoyed spending time in her yard working in her flower bed and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Mitchell and enjoyed a Tim Hortons coffee. Surviving are her children, Geoff MacEachern (Heather Mersey), Berwick; Angela "Angie" MacEachern, Berwick; beloved and cherished grandson, Mitchell MacEachern; brother, Gregory (Debbie) Brydon, Kingston; sister, LaVerne (Jim) McLeish, Greenwood; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Blair and Delmar Miller; sister, Marguerite in infancy. There will be no visitation. Funeral service for Bonnie will take place 2 p.m., Monday, July 6, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Rev. Marilyn Rose officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Victorian Order of Nurses, Annapolis Valley Branch. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Lori Burgess, Katrina Patterson (Palliative Care Nurse), Dr. Jim Seaman & the nursing staff of the Valley Regional Hospital for their care and concern shown to Bonnie.
