Obituary of Fayne Rines

59 of New Ross passed away Monday June 9, 2008 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. He was the son of the late Frank Rines and Ora Walker. Welder by trade, Fayne worked at Float Construction for 15 years and also at several jobs through the labour union. Despite Fayne's continuious battle with cancer he always enjoyed helping, giving and socializing with others. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline (Joudry) Rines; sons, Wayne (Michelle) Rines, Milton "Joey" (Wanda) Rines; sisters, Hilda (Murray) Walker, Phyllis (Percy) Hughes, Lorraine (Orley) Rafuse, Sharon (Wendell) Roast, Sheila (Kenneth) Hiltz; brother, Thornton (Mary Ann) Rines, five grand children, Justin, Jeremy, Brittany, Josh and Matthew. Besides his parents, Fayne was predeceased by his son, Bruce Rines. There will be no visitation for Mr. Rines. A grave side service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday June 12 in Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, New Ross with Peggy Hamlin officiating . Funeral Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 38 Forties Rd., New Ross (902-689-2961). Donations in Fayne's memory may be made to the New Ross Fire Department or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
