47, Waterville, Kings Co. passed away Wednesday April 16, 2008, at home. Born in Berwick, Kings Co., he was a son of Douglas "Doug" Pelton, Berwick, and Marguerite "Honey" Reeves, Waterville. Rickey had been employed by George Floris for many years and had worked at Archibald Farms Ltd. in Port Williams. Besides his parents, Rickey is survived by a son, Trevor Pelton, Cambridge Station; daughter, Amanda Pelton, Welsford; granddaughter, Jaydon Pelton; brothers, Chris (Debora) Pelton, Ste. Croix; Darrell Pelton, Waterville; sisters, Diana (James) Brothers, Greenwood; Darlene (Kevin) Kenneally, Harbourville; Elizabeth (Jeff Joudrey) Pelton, South Berwick; Rebecca (Keith) Pulsifer, Waterville; several nieces & nephews. Visitation will take place 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Sunday April 20. Rev. Donald Rafuse officiating, with burial in the Waterville Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
