68, of Wolfville, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday April 24, 2008 in the V.G. site hospital, Halifax. Born in Windsor he was the son of late Wilfred and Doris (Zwicker) Reading. Paul worked at the Wolfville Post Office for many years. He was very handy and did maintenance work for many years as well. He loved gardening. Paul was a resident of Blomidon View Seniors Complex where he had many friends and always gave a helping hand to the residents. He was a loving father and grandfather. Paul will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. Paul is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Alan) Reading, Gaspereau; his son, Christopher (Tammy), Red Deer, Alb; granddaughters, Karen (Ryan) Doherty; Lisa Beaulieu; grandson, Brandon Conrad and his faithful friend, "Sook", his cat. Visitation for Mr. Reading will take place from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday April 29, 2008 followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Robyn Brown-Hewitt officiating; in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home 568 Main St., Wolfville (902-542-2151). There will be a private family burial in Willowbank Cemetery.
