49, Aylesford, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 11, 2007, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 13, 1958, in Berwick, Ken was a son of Phyllis (Ogilvie) Lutz and the late Ernest Lutz. Ken had been a member of the Aylesford Volunteer Fire Department. He spent the past 19 years working at Michelin. Ken will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. Besides his mother, Ken is survived by sisters, Barb (Don) Pinsent, Aylesford; Irene (Glenn) Harris, Berwick; brothers, Roger, Aylesford; Robert (Kathy), Morden; nieces, Beverly (Myles) Smith, Mississauga, Ont.; Marion (Roy Hickey) Hiltz, Fredericton, N.B.; Cindy (Darren) Lawless, Woodlawn, Ont.; Nancy (Yves Labrecque) Hiltz, Windsor; Bethany Harris, Saint John, N.B.; nephews, Jeffrey Harris, Berwick; William and Daniel Lutz, Morden; several great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation for the late Ken Lutz will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Friday in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, with Pastor Kay Dean D.M. officiating. Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place in Aylesford United Church Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the medical staff of Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, and the VG Site, QEII, Halifax, who cared so wonderfully for Ken while he was ill. Family flowers only.
