39, Yarmouth, formerly of New Ross, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2008, in Gardners Mills. Born in Welland, Ont., he was the son of Wayne and Catherine McDow, and the late Beverly McDow. Chad was a loving husband, father and son. He will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lisa (Hughes); son, Aaric; daughter, Devin; sisters, Christina McDow, Picton, Ont.; Tammy MacDonald, Yellowknife, N.W.T.; brother, Edward McDow; paternal grandparents, Cecil and Ida Swinamer, and Morris McDow. Chad was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ainsley and Vera Kaizer, Gold River. Visitation for Chad will take place today from 7-9 p.m. in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 38 Forties Rd., New Ross, 902-689-2961. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, in Christ Anglican Church, New Ross, with Rev. Bonnie Baird officiating. Burial will take place in the parish Cemetery. Donations in Chad's memory can be made to Yarmouth Ground Search and Rescue.
