Obituary of Helen Mosher

85 of Halifax, passed away peacefully June 4, 2008. Born in Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mae (MacKenzie) Baird. Helen taught piano for many years, was a secretary at St. John's United Church, and later worked at the IWK Hospital for Children. She will be remembered for her kindness and love for her family and all animals. Helen is survived by daughters, Kathy (Richard) French; Faith Seaman and Rosemary (Jim) Coughran; sisters, Anna Mounce, Kathleen Kerr and Nancy (Richard) Legge; brother, Robert (Maxine) Baird; grandchildren, André, Stacey, Wesley, Ashley, Justin, Brittany and Deidre; great grandchild, Adee; and several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Medford Carl; brother, William Baird; and sister, Dorothy Lowe. There will be no visitation for Mrs. Mosher, by her family's request. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday June 9 in St. John's United Church, Windsor St., Halifax. Yvette Swan officiating. Interment will take place in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.
