74, Aylesford, Kings Co. passed away Friday March 7, 2008, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Middleton, Annapolis Co., he was a son of the late Gale & Marjorie (Beals) Oickle. Wilfred retired in 1985 after many years of employment at Larsens Packers, Berwick. Surviving are his wife, Helen B. (Creemer) Oickle; sons, Lewis (Susan) Oickle, Aylesford; Lawrence (Vicki) Oickle, Berwick; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Arnold (Rose) Oickle; Meadowvale; sister, Reta Selig, Edmonton, Alberta. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Everett Oickle. There will be visitation for Wilfred, 7-9 p.m. Monday in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Tuesday March 11. Pastor Kay Dean D.M. officiating, with burial in the Aylesford Union Cemetery and a reception to follow in the Millville Community Hall. Donations in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (Nova Scotia Division) or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
