61, Aylesford, Kings Co. N.S., formerly of Saskatchewan, passed away suddenly on Friday July 25, 2008, at home. Born in Hamilton, Ont., he was a son of the late Mike & Caroline (Shiplack) Monuik. David had worked for the Saskatchewan Provincial Government for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, horticulture & golfing. Surviving are his wife, Mary Jean; children, Robin (Anna Lee Mudie) Monuik, Saskatoon, Sask.; Jennie (Akash Sastri) Monuik, Victoria, B.C.; brother, Terry (Linda), B.C. There will be no visitation or service in accordance to David's wishes. Donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Salvation Army. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900).
