87, Wolfville, passed away Friday May 1, 2009 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Greenfield, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Edith (Schofield) Davison. Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Dorothy is survived by sons, Randy, Kentville; Gerald, Cambridge; daughter, Joyce Carnell, Kentville; brothers, Paul (Beula), Gaspereau Mtn.; Chestley (Terry), Gaspereau; Leo (Carlin), New Minas; Charlton (Shirley), Greenfield; Kenneth (Judy), Gaspereau; Laurie, British Columbia; sisters, Madeline, Wolfville; Myrtle (Elick), Canaan; Ruth (Joseph), Greenfield; 4 grandchildren & several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm McInnis; son, Dale, brothers, Roscoe, Murray, Bedford & Lawson; sisters, Pauline & Marita. Visitation for Dorothy will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday May 5 in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home 5 Leverett Ave., Kentville, N.S. B4N 2K5 (902-678-2151). A graveside committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday May 6 in Willow Bank Cemetery, Wolfville. Rev. David Taylor officiating. Family flowers only please.
