HENDERSON, Patricia Gail -- 56, Hantsport, passed away very peacefully with her family in her presence on January 22, 2010, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Wolfville, Gail was a daughter of the late Ken and Rose Mary (Best) Berry. Gail was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She had a great sense of humour, loved bingo, fishing and most importantly loving and spending time with her family who were the center of her life. Gail worked at Hostess Foods and Canard Poultry. She is survived by her husband, Miles; son, Kevin (Angela), Grimshaw, Alta.; daughters, Carrie (Harold Lake), Grimshaw, Alta.; Jennifer (Matt Boyd), Kentville; Liza Coburn (Scott Brewer), Centreville; grandchildren, Jordin, Madison Marr, Mercedes, Grace, Madison, Hudson, Shelby, Sesily, Shaley and Dominick; sister, Dianne (Martin) Lightfoot, Ridge Road; brothers, Bruce, Grand Pre; David, Wolfville; Randy, John, and Robert "Bobby" all of Toronto; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Gail was predeceased by brothers, Gregory and Eugene "Skip". Cremation has taken place. A funeral memorial service will be 2 p.m. today in Serenity Funeral Chapel, Wolfville with Rev. Ellen Hunt and Rev. Dan Jamer officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends for a time of fellowship and remembrance in the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 74, 310 Main St., Wolfville, immediately following the service. Interment will be in Willow bank Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Hants Community Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society. Gail's family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful people that have supported them during Gail's illness. In particular, Rev Ellen Hunt, Rev. Dan Jamer and the wonderful staff at the Palliative Care Unit, at Hants Community Hospital.
