67, Yarmouth, formerly of Weymouth and Digby, passed away Monday, August 25, 2008, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Weymouth, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Francs (Doucette) Leblanc. Daisy worked at various jobs, including Digby General Hospital, cashier and fish plant processor. She enjoyed traveling, crafts, playing cards, darts and taking part in various Legion functions. She is survived by husband, Arnold "Arnie" Jordan; sons, Arnold "Junior" (Donna), Marshalltown; Mark (Natasha), Culloden; Derrick, Yarmouth; Ronnie Pierce, Edmonton, Alta.; daughters, Kathy (Alden) Graham, Lake Midway; Patty Rose (David Lombard), Centreville, Digby Co.; brothers, Earl (YVette), Roy (Stephanie), both of New Edinburgh; Timothy, Edmonton, Alta.; Nelson (Sharon), Levack, Ont.; Rene (Cheryl), Weymouth; sisters, Sylvia (Jean) Boudreau, Port Hastings; Eva Sulis, Cornwall, P.E.I.; Gladys (John) Misener, Dartmouth; Anne (Jim) Morrison, Elmsdale; Gwennie (Burt) Nakpil, Cowansville, Que.; Denise (John) Mommersteeg, Edmonton, Alta.; Laura (Laurie) Leblanc, Moncton, N.B.; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughters, Darlene, Elizabeth; brothers, Albert "Junior" Leblanc, Vincent, Clifford in infancy; sister, Freda Vantassel. There will be no visitation by family request. Arrangements for cremation are under the care of H.C. Lindsay Funeral Homes, 5 Leverett Ave., Kentville, 902-678.2151. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 29, at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Plympton. Father Marck Pecak officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Holy Cross Parish Cemetery or Canadian Cancer Society.
