WELL KNOWN KINGS CO., FARMER PASSES AWAY 94, Medford, passed away Wednesday September 26, 2007 in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Whitfield and Mary (Daniel) Huntley. Maurice will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. He farmed for most of his life in Medford. In his earlier years, Maurice worked as a woodsman in the winter. He enjoyed listening to bluegrass music. Maurice is survived by son, Glendon, Medford; daughter, Miriam, Medford; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Maurice was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Marion; his brothers, Cecil, Andrew and George; sisters, Elsie and Bertha; grandson, Scott in infancy. Visitation for Mr. Huntley will be held from 7-9 pm on Thursday September 27 in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home 5 Leverett Ave., Kentville (902-678-2151) where a funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Friday September 28 with Rev. Robert Billings officiating. A private family burial will take place in Habitant Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Evergreen Home for Special Care or to Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
